Self-shot Publication for Mob Journal Quarantine Edition

When I saw these lemon earrings (from Shop.Kikay, if you wanted some too!) I knew I wanted to do a shoot with them… but it would take a long time if I were to wait until COVID was under control. I wanted to use this time to better myself and try out new things, and honestly, that didn’t last long thanks to the pandemic blues, but I did get these photos out of it. I was wanting to delve into editorial makeup photography, and as you can see, I have a long way to go before I reach any incredible quality, but I still had a lot of fun with these! This set was published in the Quarantine/self-shot edition of Mob Journal, which now lives happily on my coffee table, because, face it, any time you make it in a magazine, you want everyone to see. Honorable mention to my little sister, who I am quarantining with, for doing my hair and technically becoming a published hair stylist as well!
